There are three basic tensions in life, muscular, emotional and mental. The scientific practice of Yoga Nidra is a method to remove these tensions. Yoga Nidra is a space between consciousness and sleep.
Participants have the option to be suspended in the aerial fabric (in the beloved silkworm pose) or comfy on your own mat supported with blankets and a pillow. I will talk you to your own personal intention and through different parts of the body that correspond with relaxation in the brain. We’ll visit and observe our breath using visualization as we go. Prior to the conclusion of our 45 minutes of guided relaxation, we will revisit our intention and prepare to join the real world again. Research shows that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to the tension release of four hours of conventional sleep.
